We had the pleasure and honor of participating in the 10th Congress of the Rassemblement des Garderies privées du Québec (RGPQ), an enriching occasion that highlighted the crucial importance of supporting daycare managers. These meetings strengthened our connection with the network, allowing us to better understand and share field realities.

This congress was a poignant reminder of the challenges facing managers: professional burnout, lack of resources, and the fight against time. Manager exhaustion and difficulty increasing staff retention are major issues in childcare services, and their impact is increasingly felt. According to recent statistics, nearly 60% of childcare service managers report a high level of professional burnout, particularly due to increasing workloads, lack of support, and staff management challenges. This exhaustion has direct consequences on their ability to maintain a healthy and attractive work environment for staff.

Moreover, the turnover rate remains concerning. On average, childcare services experience a turnover rate of over 30% per year, which considerably complicates retention efforts. Managers find themselves caught in a vicious circle where staff shortage and team exhaustion diminish service quality and consequently impact staff satisfaction, which further fuels staff departures.

Discussions with participants confirmed the relevance of our mission at Mangrove Early Childhood: provide innovative digital solutions to lighten the workload, maximize efficiency, and refocus efforts on what's essential — the well-being and development of children.

We presented our solutions that go well beyond simple administrative management. Whether through tools like attendance management, accident reports, or advanced features such as development tracking and educational planning, every aspect of our platform aims to support teams so they can fully devote themselves to their educational role without the weight of administrative constraints.

This participation was also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment: to be a trusted partner and strategic ally for Quebec's educational environments, offering them solutions adapted to their specific needs. We left the RGPQ Congress with rich exchanges in perspectives and renewed motivation to continue innovating and supporting this essential community.

As an essential tool for efficient and people-respecting management, Mangrove plays a key role. However, managers often face financial and legislative constraints, limiting their ability to offer attractive incentives and improved working conditions, elements essential for team retention. To overcome these challenges, it becomes crucial that support policies and appropriate public measures be implemented, thus allowing to lighten the administrative burden and create an environment conducive to staff stability and motivation.

This congress thus opened a dialogue on these issues and laid the foundations for concrete and concerted solutions.
